Mission

The congregation of St
James Church is a caring Christian
community serving Christ through worship, fellowship, outreach,
and education. The ministries of St James Church are
committed to these
attributes with the guidance of the Holy Spirit

Food,
clothing, and humanitarian assistance is provided for the
needy within the community. This is an ongoing program
supported through congregation food donations, and the Vicar's
discretionary fund. |

Church
facilities are available for community meetings and events. |

Church
membership supports Mission efforts in Haiti with food
health care and Christian education of needy children. |

Alpha
- A series of 10 video presentations by Nicky Gumbel, followed by
a period of open discussion is provided. The course covers the basic
beliefs of the Christian faith, including ... Who is Jesus?
Why did he die? How can I be sure of my faith? Why and
how should I read the Bible? Call for more information on
schedule and course content. |

Dinners
of eight. Monthly, groups of eight church members join in
fellowship in the home of a host for dinner and lively
conversation. What better way to become better acquainted
with your brothers and sisters? Sign up is in the parish
hall. |

St
James Church is an active member of the Lincoln Chamber of
commerce. |
 |
In
2007, St. James provided $1,000 scholarships to each of five
graduating Lincoln High School Students. |
